Cannon Beach Weather is the bastard child of a publication that circulated around Cannon in the late 80's and early 90's called "The Rocker" . Starting as a April Fools Joke, it evolved into a humor/whistle blower newsletter that made fun of the tourism establishment in here in town. At it's hay day, it was published 4 times a year with a circulation of over 400 newsletters. It died when the time and cost to publish became prohibitive.
Now with the electronic publication era in full swing, An EZINE (electronic magazine) can be published with relative ease.

CB Weather is such a publication. Be aware that much of what is published is humor, or what we think passes for dark humor and outright lies.Then there are the stories and photos that are 'right on' that even the local north coast press won't publish for fear of litigation. We like to thing we are the conscience of the dishwashers, bartenders, and shop owners. ( The working stiffs)

CB Weather is very ProTourism, and welcomes visitors to our community. We have a fantastic natural envoironment, many fine eateries, and fine art that rivals any gallery on the Pacific Coast. A professionally operated live theater, shop-till-you-drop stores with wares from Java to Tasmania, and its all in two blocks. Please plan to stay in one of our fine hotels, motels, resorts, lodges, etc.. Remember to lock your car and walk on the beach or use the free shuttle bus that runs through town every 32 minutes.

Avoid like the plague, the summer weekends if you are just planning a day trip. If you come on a weekend, use the Tolovana exit as they have excellnt parking and restrooms and the beach and Haystack Rock are right there.There are also two general stores a block away. The downtown is a horror story.

Our sections change, but currently Shocking Photos are just that. They can be from a local source or from my secret stash. Misc is currently videos and music/voice . Here we have short video we took or found and some music I wrote or found or someone submitted. Websites are local businesses, please support them and go to their web site's and check them out!. Jokes are PG - Nothing racist or obscene, ,just something you could tell another adult without blushing. Chat is a chat room where anyone can visit or add their comments. Be aware it gets pretty strange in there! Gossip is our favorite section. It deals with local topical issues. Satan Worship is just that. Go take a look and see if you agree. Food is about the growing trend of quality food that is springing up here in Cannon. Weather is a section in transition. Want to see what the weather is here? Live video cams show you.
