As a former musician, I was shocked to find what I thought was Carpotunnel in my wrist , turned out to be a crushed spinal chord. I went to 3 doctors before I was finally sent to a MRI unit. (If your health insurance does not cover you, for MRI, check to see if you can add it. It is VERY important.)
By the time I had surgery, I had lost a great deal of movement in the my right side of my body and my right hand in particular, was very impacted. While this kept me from playing such instruments as Classical Guitar, Flute, Keyboards, and other wind instuments that involved my right hand, I could still play some guitar (With a pick strapped to my right hand), harmonica ,and the computer.
Yes, the computer. This is the golden age of the merge of music and the computer. Most of the recordings you hear now are made on computer, and I would challenge you to tell the difference between a piece played on computer versus a 'real' piano.
The following pieces that I post here were created entirely on a computer. They are not made to sound like other instruments, that is not the strong point of the new medium, rather to creat new instruments.
To play these songs, try clicking the play button once, then waiting a few seconds and clicking it again. If you have a dail-up account, click the play button and then wait about 30 seconds and then click the play button again.
We are trying to add videos to this page. Click the Red ball and when you get to the Video page click go. If you have a dialup account this might take awhile.
