So, you've all probably heard that Gary's had their last day where they pumped gas. It's true, the property has been put up for sale, but until it does they will still have their garage open. Well, it's not cut and dry like it sounds. The Moon's have been approached already by a couple of interested parties. As of last Tuesday, the Moon's didn't sell, but had to forfeit the property. The reason being is that the Umpqua Tribe discovered that the piece of land was truly theirs. Along with the building and parking lot that is right next to the old gas station. The Christian Conference Center was just as shocked as the Moons were to find out that their property was being seized.

Both parties have been given ninety days to move off of the premises. Exactly ten days after that the Tribe will be starting construction on Cannon Beach's new Casino. The Casino will be some what similar to the Casino down in Lincoln City. Locals have been crying out in rage about the new plans for northern Cannon Beach. Unfortunately, the design review board has been receiving letters and calls when in this situation their hands are tied. The plans for the Casino will be posted on the building as soon as construction starts.
